Koepka claimed his first major championship at the U.S. Open in 2017 at Erin Hills, Wisconsin.[2][3] He successfully defended his title in 2018 at Shinnecock Hills on Long Island, the first golfer to win the consecutive U.S. Opens since Curtis Strange in 1988 and 1989. He won his third major at the 2018 PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club, shooting a major-championship-record-tying 264 over 72 holes. 05. Rory McIlroy MBE (born 4 May 1989) is a professional golfer from Northern Ireland who is a member of both the European and PGA Tours.

He was world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking for 95 weeks. He is a four-time major champion, winning the 2011 U.S Open and setting the then tournament record score of -16 (since equaled), 2012 PGA Championship (with a tournament record margin of victory (8 strokes)), 2014 Open Championship, and 2014 PGA Championship. Along with Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Jordan Spieth, he is one of four players to win three majors by the age of 25.

McIlroy had a successful amateur career, topping the World Amateur Golf Ranking for one week as a 17-year-old in 2007. Later that year, he turned professional and soon established himself on the European Tour. He had his first win on the European Tour in 2009, and on the PGA Tour in 2010. In 2011 at the age of 22, he became the youngest player ever to reach €10 million in career earnings on the European Tour. In 2012, he became the youngest player to reach $10 million in career earnings on the PGA Tour.

04. Justin Peter Rose, MBE (born 30 July 1980) is an English professional golfer who plays most of his golf on the PGA Tour while keeping his membership on the European Tour.

He is the current world number four in the Official World Golf Ranking.[2] He won his first major championship at the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club, becoming the first English player to win a major since Nick Faldo in 1996 and the first to win the U.S. Open since Tony Jacklin in 1970. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Rose won gold at the men's individual tournament. With that victory, Rose joined Hall of Fame members Gary Player, David Graham, Hale Irwin, and Bernhard Langer as one of only five golfers to win official tournaments on all six continents on which golf is played. Rose has also twice been runner-up at the Masters Tournament, in 2015 and 2017.

03. Jordan Alexander Spieth (born July 27, 1993) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour and former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking.

He is a three-time major winner and the 2015 FedEx Cup champion.[1] In April 2016, Time magazine named Spieth to its list of the "100 Most Influential People", noting that he "exemplifies everything that's great about sports." Spieth's first major win came in the 2015 Masters Tournament when he shot a 270 (-18) and pocketed $1.8 million. He tied the 72-hole record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and became the second-youngest golfer (behind Woods) to win the Masters. He then won the 2015 U.S. Open with a score of 5-under-par.[2] He was the youngest U.S. Open champion since amateur Bobby Jones in 1923. He followed up with a win in the 2015 Tour Championship, which clinched the 2015 FedEx Cup. Two years later, Spieth won his third major at the 2017 Open Championship, by three shots at 12 under-par.

02. Phil Mickelson is one of the most accomplished golfers in the history of the PGA Tour, and he has a net worth reflecting his sustained success over 25+ years as a professional.

As of the latest estimate, Mickelson’s net worth is north of $375 million according to Forbes.com in 2016. This hefty sum has been accomplished through career earnings and even more due to lucrative sponsorship deals estimated at more than $50 million per year. According to Forbes, only seven athletes in the history of sports have earned more than him. Only two current athletes, Lebron James, and Roger Federer) earn more than him through sponsorship deals and other income outside of their salary and prize money.

His $82+ million in earnings in competitive golf place him only behind Tiger Woods ($110+ million) all-time, as shown by the career money list below. With Woods no longer in the form that he’s in, and Phil still remaining in the hunt in every tournament he participates in, it is not far-fetched that he may someday become the #1 all-time money winner.

01. Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods (born December 30, 1975) is an American professional golfer.

He ranks second all-time in both men's major championships and PGA Tour wins and also holds numerous golf records.[4] Woods is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers in the history of the sport, and as one of the most famous athletes of all time.

Following an outstanding junior, college, and amateur golf career, Woods turned professional in 1996 at the age of 20. By the end of April 1997, he had won three PGA Tour events in addition to his first major, the 1997 Masters, which he won by 12 strokes in a record-breaking performance. He first reached the number one position in the world rankings in June 1997, less than a year after turning pro. Throughout the first decade of the 21st century, Woods was the dominant force in golf; he was the top-ranked golfer in the world from August 1999 to September 2004 (264 weeks) and again from June 2005 to October 2010 (281 weeks). During this time, he won 13 of golf's major championships.
